You’re a hotel sales leader and want to be recognized for your knowledge, experience, and capabilities in the discipline.  HSMAI’s Certified Hotel Sales Leader (CHSL) certification recognizes and validates the knowledge, experience, and capabilities of hotel sales leaders.

2. Click Here to create an account…when you’ve created your account, click Continue to Registration.
3. Complete the online CHSL application and submit it.

When you have applied, qualified, and paid, you will receive a PDF of the CHSL study guide.  The CHSL certification is a separate fee from the review course.

Get Set!

The face-to-face CHSL Review Course is for candidates pursuing the Certified Hospitality Sales Leader (CHSL) certification. The course covers the key concepts outlined in the certification study guide.  It is a great last “cram session” before taking the certification exam.

Review course participants are required to read the study guide in advance of this fast-paced class. A digital copy of the study guide is included in the course registration fee. If you have not yet applied for the CHSL and received the study guide, you will receive a PDF of it as soon as you’ve registered and paid for the class.  You can apply for the CHSL certification at a later time if you choose.

The live, in-person CHSL Review Course will be on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.  (the day before HSMAI’s Commercial Strategy Conference) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Get Certified!

CHSL Review Course participants who have applied and paid for the certification in advance have the opportunity to take the CHSL exam whenever they are ready. (Exams will not be given onsite.) Email kathy.tindell@hsmai.org to be entered into the exam platform.

Register for the Review Course

Registration includes the review course itself, and a digital copy of the study guide. It does not include the certification application fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received three weeks prior to the program will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between three and one week out are entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations received within one week will not be refunded, except in the case of a medical emergency. All cancellations must be received in writing.
